Lamont is a performance-driven leader and combat veteran with over 25 years’ experience in the security and defense, sports management, military consulting, and medical supplies industries. A seasoned Naval Aviator, he led large-scale initiatives and exercises comprising million-dollar budgets, state-of-the-art equipment, and large teams comprised of over 1500 personnel for over 20 years in the US Navy. Lamont has served in combat zones and advised in foreign countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, Bahrain (working with the French forces), Qatar, UAE, South Korea, and Djibouti. He is passionate about diversity and inclusion, and was also a minority enabler (recruiter) in the military. His post-military career has been focussed on military consulting, business development, and leadership collaboration and education.

As a managing director and leadership consultant, Lamont’s mission is to help teams, executives, and leaders unlock their potential for success. He uses his considerable experience, training, and MBA education to develop elite coaching strategies for taking team performance and productivity to an optimal level. Lamont works with clients to provide them with the skills, mindsets, and toolkits they need to enable high-performance teams, high-impact leadership, and a culture of success at their organizations. His areas of expertise include leadership development, team performance enhancement, business development, and capacity building.

Lamont is also passionate about community empowerment.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Veterans Breakfast Club and the Development Advisory Committee in Pittsburgh, PA.  He also volunteered as an Admissions Interviewer (Blue-and-Gold Officer) for the Naval Academy in Hampton, Virginia, and was the President and Vice-President of the Annapolis Chapter of the National Naval Officer’s Association (NNOA), dedicating time, scholarships to the community, and mentorship to Officers in the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.

Lamont holds a BS Degree in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, and an MBA from Norwich University. He is also a Project Management Professional certified through the Project Management Institute, and holds the Diversity and Inclusion certificate from Cornell University.
